classroom.cloud partners with SWGfL to launch Assisted Monitoring feature for UK schools
classroom.cloud is proud to announce it has partnered with SWGfL (South West Grid for Learning) to launch a new Assisted Monitoring service to provide an extra pair of hands for UK schools’ safeguarding teams.
The service blends automated 24/7 device tracking with expert human review. Trained SWGfL online safety professionals can monitor safeguarding alerts within your account, helping to assess and prioritise concerns so your team can respond swiftly and effectively. Triggered alerts are separated into three categories:
- False Positive: Harmless activity, not deemed as a concern and no action is required.
- Investigating: An alert that contains safeguarding concerns but is not deemed urgent. The school should review it.
- Needs Immediate Attention: An urgent safeguarding concern has been captured and needs immediate attention. SWGfL will notify the school by email and phone call. The POSH helpline is also available for further support.
With Assisted Monitoring, your safeguarding team receives additional support to review and prioritise concerns – helping your school to manage alerts without compromising student safety.
